Keegan has been the MP for Chichester since 2017, where she won with around 60% of the vote.

Labour’s representation this week comes from Peter Kyle – the shadow secretary of state for science, innovation and technology.

It comes following a report that Labour MPs are reportedly facing the threat of deselection should they continue to break ranks on the party’s stance on Palestine.

Kyle has previously served as the shadow ministers for victims and youth justice, the shadow minister for schools and the shadow secretary of state for Northern Ireland.
