AN independent Scottish fashion firm has described a “wild day” after pop singer Taylor Swift was seen wearing one of their dresses in New York.

Perthshire-based Little Lies said the £58 “Sweet Jane Olive Mini Dress” had sold out after the megastar was photographed wearing it alongside actress Blake Lively.

The Scottish firm is run by Jade and Stuart Robertson, who posted on Facebook: “It's been a wild day here at Little Lies HQ after waking up to see Taylor Swift photographed wearing our sold-out Sweet Jane Olive Mini Dress!

“The response has been phenomenal and pre-orders for the dress already flying in on our website.

“Not to mention, the Sweet Jane Olive Midi Dress being featured in major publications, including British Vogue. Yep, it's a ‘pinch me’ moment for sure!

“Creative Director Jade has also been chatting to local radio stations and will feature on BBC Scotland's The Nine tonight.

“The entire team is buzzing with excitement and is manifesting more of where this came from in 2024 for Little Lies.”

Little Lies’ website says it has “progressed from sourcing and stocking styles from wholesalers and began the transformation into an entirely own label brand” since early 2023.

It goes on: “Bringing a design team in house, all own label pieces are now designed at Little Lies HQ in Central Scotland and produced exclusively for Little Lies.”

Swift's international Eras tour will see her visit venues across the UK this year in a series of sold out events which were hotly-contested by fans.

She is due to play Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium for three nights from June 7-9.
