A SCOTTISH city is set to get its first Krispy Kreme doughnut shop.
The popular American chain will open its first store in Inverness at 10am on January 18.
The first customer in the queue on opening day is set to win a year’s supply of donuts – receiving a free choose-your-own dozen box once a month.
The first dozen customers will also get "exclusive Krispy Kreme merchandise" with their purchases.

Between January 18-21 customers will be able to purchase 12 original glazed donuts for £10 instead of the usual £14.95.
Ahead of the opening of the shop at 60 High Street, Krispy Kreme workers will take to the streets of Inverness to hand out hundreds of free donuts on January 12.
Customers are also able to order ahead of time, with click and collect available from 12pm on January 18.
Krispy Kreme was originally established in a warehouse in North Carolina in 1937.
Founder Vernon Rudolph sold doughnuts to local grocery shops before deciding to open his own premises.
