SOME trains have been cancelled due to a power cut at Glasgow Central.

After a "failure of the electrical supply" at Glasgow Central high level, all services are subject to delay, alteration and cancellation, ScotRail said in a statement.

The firm further said it was urging travellers to plan ahead and keep an eye on services.

Around one hour after the initial warning, ScotRail issued a second statement.

The company said: "Services out of Glasgow Central high level returning to run as scheduled, but may be subject to delay."
