GLASGOW Airport has announced new European flights to two popular cities from the travel hub.
Wizz Air will be taking off from the city to Budapest and Bucharest next month.
The two twice-weekly routes will be launched from November 14 and November 17 at the popular airport.
Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, Glasgow Airport said they were “buzzing” for the new services.

The post said: “Look who's touching down in Glasgow...it's @wizzair! 💜 “We're buzzing to announce two new routes twice weekly from your favourite airport.
“From 14th Nov, you can fly to Budapest 🇭🇺 “From 17th Nov, you can fly to Bucharest 🇷🇴 “Pictures taken by Allan B Picken.”
The Glasgow Times recently reported how Turkish Airlines has named Glasgow Airport among its future connections.
The airline, which serves 128 countries, with 291 international destinations and 363 cargo destinations, also named Newcastle as a second new UK route.
The airline's investor presentation said the national flag carrier of Turkey surpassed its 2019 capacity level by 24% in August 2023.
It is unclear at this stage however which new routes would be linked with Glasgow.
