AN Edinburgh-based firm has been named among the fastest growing businesses in the UK.

Core-Asset Consulting has been named in the Recruiters Fast 50 list which puts the firm among the UK’s top performing recruitment businesses in the past year.

The Edinburgh-based firm, which was founded by entrepreneur Betsy Williamson in 2005, had a compound annual growth rate of 32% in the last year with revenue reaching more than £26,000,000.

Williamson (below), who serves as chief executive of the firm, said: “Our ability to retain and attract clients is simply down to our capacity to provide an unrivalled level of quality service.

Core-Asset was placed 17th out of 50 in this year’s rankings. A major contributor to the success is the firm’s solutions team which helps supply interim, temporary and contract staff to the Scottish financial sector.
