A MAN was found with serious injuries after he was 'attacked with a bladed weapon' in an incident involving a 'firearm'.

Emergency services were called to Ladymuir Crescent in Pollok at around 8.10pm yesterday evening following a report of a man being found injured. 

The 35-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. 

It is understood he was 'attacked with a bladed weapon' near a shop.

An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times they heard a firearm being discharged. 

It is understood police are investigating the use of a possible firearm in the incident but the injured man was not shot. 

An investigation into the incident is underway. 

Pictures from the scene show the road was taped off last night with armed police in attendance. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.10pm on Sunday, August 13, 2023, police received a report of a 35-year-old man being found injured on Ladymuir Crescent, Glasgow.

"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

"Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing."
