OUR front-page story on the US firm Discovery Land Company (DLC) and its plans for an 8000-acre private compound for the mega-rich on the banks of Loch Tay has really got people talking over the last few weeks.
We’ve seen much of the Scottish media following our lead – with STV, Sky News, The Guardian, the Daily Mail and many more outlets chasing up our exclusive articles on the proposed development.
But no other title has offered up the level of detail The National has.
We know our readers care deeply about the use and ownership of land in Scotland, and we want to ensure our coverage of this story is as accessible as possible to ensure wide awareness of the issue – which can be very complex.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
