SEVERAL roads will close around Glasgow's West End this week as drivers have been warned to expect delays.
Resurfacing works across Great Western Road, between Kirklee Road to Hamilton Park Avenue, will shut down the main road as well as several other streets surrounding the University of Glasgow between 8.30am to 9pm each day from Saturday to Tuesday.

Byres Road will also be shut from University Avenue to Great Western Road and Queen Margaret Drive will close from Great Western Road to Maryhill Road.
Great Western Road, between Byres Road to Hamilton Park Avenue, will close from 8.30am to 9pm each day between Wednesday, July 19, to Saturday, July 22.

Glasgow City Council's roads team said: "Delays are anticipated.
"Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
"Local access will be maintained at all times."
