The National:

FORMER Tory chancellor George Osborne is due to marry his fiancé tomorrow – but the celebrations have been overshadowed somewhat by a mysterious email sent to his guests.

Osborne, 52, is set to wed Thea Rogers, 40, at a ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Somerset.

It’s expected that high-profile guests will include the likes of former prime minister David Cameron, Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove (below), and senior figures from the British media.

Much talk around the wedding is now focused on an email sent to a large number of invited guests, plus journalists, on Thursday.

On social media, curious users are digging into who could be responsible for the lengthy 2500-word message ...

Osborne and Rogers were engaged in 2021, with the austerity lover saying he’d “probably never been happier” in his life.

They have two children together – Beau, who was born in 2021, and Arthur, born in December.
