A MAJOR rock band have announced a gig at Hampden Park. 

The Foo Fighters will perform at the stadium in June next year as part of their Everything Or Nothing At All Tour. 

The band, which formed in Seattle in 1994, will be supported by Courtney Barnett and Honeyblood.

The Foo Fighters surprised fans at Glastonbury festival with a secret slot on the Pyramid stage. They had been billed as "The Churnups".

Tickets for the Glasgow show, and the rest of the UK tour, go on sale at 9am on Friday, June 30, with presale beginning on Wednesday, June 28 at 9am.

As well as playing in Scotland, the Foos Fighters will perform in Cardiff, London, and Manchester.

Their world tour will also take them to Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Japan, and the US.
