TWO children were rescued from the waters of Loch Lomond by a passing boat.
The youngsters, who were in a dinghy at the time, were blown off the beach at Firkin Point on Sunday (May 28) and left stranded in the loch.
The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat (LLRB) was called to the scene to help, but luckily a passing vessel rescued them before the team arrived.
Volunteers at LLRB spoke with the parents and police to ensure the children were safe before standing down and returning to base.
The rescue boat was then called out the following evening to Ardui Marina to reports of a broken down boat.

A spokesperson from the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat said: "Two children in a dinghy were blown off the beach. The children were rescued by a passing vessel and assisted ashore.
"The rescue boat crew went ashore and assessed the children, speaking with parents and police [to make sure the] children were safe.
"The LLRB stood down returning to base."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received the call at 3.45pm on May 28 to attend an incident on Loch Lomond. We dispatched one resource to the scene, but no treatment was required."
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
