Conservative councillor Kerr said: “I am thoroughly looking forward to hosting this coronation event in my ward on Saturday.

“The coronation of King Charles is a perfect opportunity for our community in Shettleston to come together and celebrate His Majesty.

“I know that this event will showcase Shettleston’s community spirit at its very best and be fit for a King. Here is hoping that the sun is shining on Saturday.”

Councillor Kerr added: “Everyone is welcome – please bring along your friends, family and neighbours to celebrate this momentous occasion.”
