The Forth Road Bridge - which allows access over the river for buses, lorries and taxis - has been closed in both directions
THE Forth Road Bridge has been shut in both directions due to an incident.
Emergency services are currently on the scene on the bridge between South Queensferry and Fife, according to the Edinburgh Evening News.
The footbridge has been closed to the public and buses are being diverted away from the crossing.
