POLICE are stepping up the search for a woman who has been missing from Edinburgh for five days.

Tracy Milne was last seen at around 11am in the Canonmills area of the capital on Friday April 21.

She has not been seen since, and her friends and family are “increasingly concerned”, officers said.

Milne was reported missing on Tuesday April 24. While it is not known what she was wearing when she was last seen, she is described as white, around 5 foot 5 inches tall, with a slim build and greying hair with a pink tint.

Police said extensive enquiries are being carried out with officers checking relevant CCTV footage around the city, and her friends and family helping provide what information they can.

Inspector Stephanie Garnett said: “Tracy’s family is understandably worried about her and we have become increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

“Everyone just wants to know Tracy is safe and well. I am asking anyone, who may have seen Tracy, or who has any information about her whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 969 of 24 April, 2023.
