A teenage girl was found dead in Uddingston this weekend.
At around 8.30am on Saturday, April 22 emergency services were called to an area near Union Way where they discovered the body of a 15-year-old.
Police have since said that there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Saturday, April 22, the body of a 15-year-old female was discovered near Union Way, Uddingston.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
