A TORY MP arrested over allegations of rape has been bailed until mid-May, Police confirmed on Monday.

The Conservative, who is unable to be named for legal reasons, was first arrested in May last year on suspicion of indecent assault, sexual assault, rape, abuse of position of trust and misconduct in public office.

This is the fourth time their bail has been extended since the arrest.

The Metropolitan Police first received the original complaint more than three years ago in January 2020.
