Football fans travelling to Hampden Park to see Scotland clash with Cyprus and Spain can expect to benefit from major changes made by ScotRail.
As Scotland kick starts its 2024 Euro qualifier campaign on Saturday, March 25, services will be greatly expanded to accommodate supporters.
To help with the influx of visitors to Glasgow for the upcoming games, ScotRail will be adding more seats and services to and from Mount Florida.
However, as train services are expected to be busier, the train operator is urging fans to plan ahead and be patient with the staff.
There’ll be longer trains and extra services for fans heading to @ScotlandNT’s upcoming home matches at @HampdenPark against Cyprus and Spain. Plan ahead and allow extra time for travel.

It has also been advised that regular commuters who use the Neilston services should be aware that trains will be much busier than usual.
To help make things run smoothly, ScotRail has also earmarked more staff to help customers reach Hampden for the Euro qualifiers.
Queuing systems to be in place at Glasgow Central during Euro matchdays
Customers have also been advised that there will also be a queuing system in place at Glasgow Central before the games and at Mount Florida after the final whistle.
To reduce the need for queues, customers have been urged to buy return tickets in advance.
Scotland fans are also reminded that ScotRail trains prohibit the consumption of alcohol in stations and on trains.

“We’re adding more seats to trains between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida to help fans get to and from the matches against Cyprus and Spain at Hampden Park.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
