THE new trailer for the fourth season of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Succession has dropped online.

The wildly popular series, starring independence supporter Brian Cox as its main character, focuses on media tycoon Logan Roy as he and his family fight for control for the biggest media and entertainment company in the world.

Season four is set to premiere on Sunday March 26 and so will likely arrive in the UK the day after.

Fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the new trailer now that the series finally has a release date.

One tweeted: “This is going to be SO good”, while another added “BEST NEWS”.

SPOILER WARNING FOR SEASON THREE

Season 3 ended with Logan’s children, Kendall, Shiv and Roman, teaming up to try stop their father from selling the company – but Logan was able to outsmart them and cut his children off from inheriting anything from his empire.

The previous season won big at the Emmys, taking home the award for best drama series, best writing and best supporting actor.

Cox has previously won a Golden Globe for his role in the show.

The trailer shows the three Roy siblings debating whether or not to have a phone call with their father after the tumultuous events of the previous season.
