HARRY Styles fans have been left furious after tickets for the singer’s Murrayfield concert were put up for £4500 each by touts when the official presale sold out.

The former One Direction star is headed to the Edinburgh stadium next May, with up-and-coming indie rockers Wet Leg offering their support – but many fans were disappointed when tickets were released on Thursday morning.

Fans in the virtual queue at 9.55am were warned there were 60,000 people waiting for the presale release.

Some were left waiting over an hour to even get on the main website.

The National:

One person tweeted: "@Ticketmaster @LiveNationUK please tell me why I got the end of the Harry Styles Edinburgh queue at 10.11am and didn’t get the choice of buying tickets but to get put to the back of a 63875 length queue."

Later on, fans who were unsuccessful in their quest were even more enraged when resellers on Viagogo put up tickets for between £4000 and £4661.

Original prices for standing tickets at the very front of the stadium had been just £155.50.

On the resale site, other normal standing ticket costs ranged between £305 and £885, while seating was a whopping £175 – more than three times the cost of the original £51.75 ticket.

General sale for Styles’s Love On Tour appearance on May 26 will open on Ticketmaster on Friday at 10am.

It comes after fans hoping to catch Bruce Springsteen at his Murrayfield gig next year were also left having to pay more than double the original price.

The price for a front standing ticket at the rock legend’s show was originally £155, but Ticketmaster’s “dynamic pricing” system saw them surge to £400 due to demand.
