COMMUTERS in Glasgow are being warned of disruption to train services on multiple lines.

ScotRail is informing customers that a signalling fault at Clydebank is leading to cancellations and delays on the North Clyde and Argyle line.

A tweet read: "We have received reports of a signal fault in the Clydebank area.

"Our services will run through this area at a slower speed than normal until staff have rectified the fault."

The ScotRail website is rerporting cancellations to services between Larkhall and Dalmuir, Dalmuir and Motherwell and Dalmuir and Whifflet.

Trains between Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh are also subjected to changes due to the same fault.

A safety inspection of the track between Bishopton and Langbank is also causing delays between Glasgow Central and Gourock, and Glasgow Central and Wemyss Bay.
