A CONCERN for a person near the River Clyde has sparked an emergency response.
Emergency services attended the Albert Bridge area of the river in Glasgow on Saturday evening.
The alarm was raised at around 10pm.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times that the bridge was cordoned off and that they saw "multiple police cars, two ambulances and a fire engine."
Police Scotland confirmed their attendance and that they had responded to a report of a concern for a person.
The person has been taken to hospital for treatment.
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
