TWO Greenock churches have enjoyed a successful summer of joint worship.
Mount Kirk and Greenock East End came together with Reverend Francis Murphy leading the Sunday services.
Reverend Murphy, who is minister for both parishes, said: "It is the first time that we have done this over the holidays and it seems to have worked well. "
Normal services have now resumed, with Mount Kirk meeting at 10.30am in their Dempster Street place of worship and East End congregation members meeting at 49 Belville Street at 12.15pm.
Sunday school is also back, with new kids and families welcome.
