Five people have been rushed to hospital this morning following a crash in Glasgow's city centre.

The group were travelling in a car on Cowcaddens road at around 6:15 am when their vehicle collided with a bus.

There has been no further information provided regarding injuries at this time.

The road between Cambridge Street and West Nile Street remains closed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6.15am on Thursday 30 June, to a report of a crash in Cowcaddens Road involving a bus and a car.

“The road is currently closed between Cambridge Street and West Nile Street.

“Five people from the car have been taken to hospital for treatment. There are no other reported injuries at this time.”
