New speed calming measures have been introduced at Loch Doon.
A new 10mph speed limit is now in force around the Roundhouse Loch Doon cafe, and other parts of the popular destination.
This area was chosen due to the higher number of people accessing the cafe, as well as more children in this area of Loch Doon.
CCTV is also in operation around this area, with the cafe remaining open from 10am-5pm.
The new measures were welcomed by local councillor Drew Filson, as well as a Roundhouse spokesperson who said: “Please heed the new safety measures to avoid possible accidents as there can be lots of children and animals running around.”
