Famous Auchinleck artist Brain Carey has been at it again with his latest art piece, after a flight carrying asylum seekers to Rwanda was grounded.
Mr Carey has never been shy to voice his opinions on what is going on around the world, with his latest piece showing a mannequin draped in a Union Jack flag, with a suitcase, ready to head to Rwanda.
He also quoted John Denver’s famous song ‘Leaving On A Jet Plane’.
He said: “The work proved to be controversial as I knew it would be with the general public. These people we are talking about are human and deserve to be treated as such”.
