MARTIN Compston will be lacing up his football boots again after announcing that he will be returning to Soccer Aid for a fifth time.

The Line of Duty star made the announcement on Twitter saying he was “buzzing” to be involved in the charity match at the London Stadium.

The event will pit two teams of celebrities against each other, with one being all English and the other from the rest of the world.

Compston tweeted: “Buzzing to be back let’s have it @socceraid @UNICEF_uk”

In the social media clip, Compston says: "The Wee Scotsman is back and I'm pulling on the world eleven shirt once again! And I can't wait."

The film star is also a former professional footballer himself, having played for Greenock Morton FC for a brief spell in the early 2000s.
