THE cost of living crisis is expected to push more than 1 million Scots into fuel poverty when the energy price cap rises in April.

There are countless figures to showcase the rise in poverty associated with increasing inflation, fuel bills, house prices and food costs - all coupled with stagnating wages.

But The National wants to go beyond these statistics to hear directly from those who are suffering from this crisis to show just how it is affecting Scots.

If you are struggling with rising prices, choosing between heating and eating and want to have your story told, contact The National.
