A TECHNICAL issue has prevented the publication of today's Covid figures as Public Health Scotland look to return to normal reporting on Tuesday.

As of Sunday, 27 people were in intensive care in Scotland with recently confirmed Covid.

Meanwhile, 1805 people were in hospital on Sunday with recently confirmed Covid.

As of the morning of March 11, 4,439,695 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination; while 4,166,614 have received their second dose; and 3,461,076 have received a third dose or booster.

In Scotland, the percentage of people testing positive for COVID-19 continued to increase in the week ending 6 March 2022. During that time, the ONS estimates that 299,900 people in Scotland had Covid, equating to 5.70% of the population or around 1 in 18 people.
