A BRITISH Airways plane was seen abandoning a landing at London's Heathrow Airport on Tuesday amid heavy winds.

The aircraft was travelling from Aberdeen and initially tried to land on the runway before taking off into the air.

The plane could be seen tilting on its side as a person in the video shouts "easy, easy, easy".

The plane then bounces off the ground a few times before it's seen taking off.

The man in the video is heard shouting "oh my god, oh my flipping..."

SNP MP Stephen Flynn suggested he was on the flight, tweeting an article on the flight, saying: "Can confirm this was not enjoyable."

A British Airways spokesperson said: "Our pilots are highly trained to manage a range of scenarios, including extreme weather conditions, and our flight crew landed the aircraft safely. Our customers and crew all disembarked as normal."
