TODAY is the last chance for new subscribers to secure free access to The National’s premium plus digital offering for 30 days.
The National is Scotland’s only pro-independence newspaper, busting negative myths about our nation and celebrating the best of it.
While many readers are already part of our digital family, we want to keep growing that number.
Today is a perfect chance to recommend the site to a friend who you think could be won over by analysis from the likes of Lesley Riddoch and the Wee Ginger Dug and our reporting on Scotland's real potential.

National editor Callum Baird said: "The support of our readers and subscribers is crucial to running projects like pro-independence specials with Believe In Scotland, distributed across the country.
"We have some big plans for 2022 too that we're working on in the background. We're excited to reveal more about those when the time is right!
"As Scotland's only pro-independence newspaper, we're always looking to win over those who have yet to make up their mind on indyref2 – for example, those turned off by Tory corruption but not quite Yessers yet.
"They want clear reporting on partygate – and as we've shown from our front pages, we aren't afraid to call the Prime Minister's claims out as the lies they are.
"Plus, we think our digital subscription brings some great added value for our print readers.
"Try out 30 days and we're confident we can win you over!"

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
