Body recovered from canal in Glasgow, police confirm
A BODY has been pulled from the water of a Glasgow canal.
Emergency services recovered the body from Maryhill Locks, near Maryhill Road in the city, on Sunday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokeperson said: “At around 1.05pm on Sunday, January 23, officers were called to Maryhill Locks near Maryhill Road, Glasgow.
“A body has been recovered from the water and police enquires are ongoing.”
