Scotland records 29 Covid deaths and almost 8500 new cases
ANOTHER 29 people have died in Scotland after contracting Covid-19, new daily figures show.
A further 8495 cases have also been recorded.
The deaths, among patients who first tested positive in the previous 28 days, bring the total under that measure to 10,122.
Some 1571 people are in hospital with recently confirmed Covid, an increase of 25.
A total of 4,401,876 people have received their first dose of a vaccination, 4,092,558 have received their second dose, and 3,223,113 have received a third dose or booster.
