Scottish Government unable to publish latest Covid figures due to IT glitch
THE Scottish Government is unable to provide the latest Covid-19 data due to an IT glitch, it has been announced.
The usual daily figures were not posted by Public Health Scotland (PHS), which blamed “IT issues”.
Though the number of new infections, deaths and vaccinations were not reported, PHS did announce the latest hospital figures.
A total of 1562 people were in hospital on Saturday with recently confirmed Covid-19, an increase of 22.
Of those patients, 42 were in intensive care, down by four.
PHS stated: “Due to IT issues this morning, Public Health Scotland are unable to provide today’s Covid-19 cases and vaccination data. This issue is under investigation.”
