JOKERS have attached a "party invitation" to the gates of a Scottish park after it emerged Boris Johnson attended a "bring your own booze" party at No 10 at the height of lockdown.

Johnson admitted at Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday that he attended the party, although he said he believed it was a work event.

He has faced calls to resign from the leader of the opposition, Keir Starmer, as well as from LibDem leader Ed Davey and SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford.

A Glasgow Times photographer snapped these pictures of a large sheet outside Queens Park, on the city's southside.

It shows a list of names including Priti Patel, Carrie Johnson and Dominic Cummings listed in the style of a party invitation from Boris Johnson.

It reads: "Drinks at my bit? Wot pandemic?"

The invitation attracted bemused looks from passers-by who stopped to take pictures.

It is understood around 30-40 people attended the party, to which as many as 100 members of staff had been invited.

Johnson said he attended "for 25 minutes" to thank groups of workers and had been under the impression it was a work event.
