A BODY has been recovered in the search for a missing Bellshill man.
Edward McDonald was last seen at around 10am on Monday, November 29 on Carnbroe Road in the town.
Officers launched an urgent search to trace the 75-year-old.
Police Scotland confirmed this morning that a body has been found.
Edward's family has been made aware.
The force said there are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
