Scotland records 20 Covid deaths and more than 2200 new cases
ANOTHER 20 people in Scotland have died after contracting Covid-19, the latest daily figures reveal.
A further 2262 cases have also been recorded, with a positivity rate of 11.5%.
The deaths, recorded among people who tested positive in the previous 28 days, bringing the total under that measure to 9072.
Some 917 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid, an increase of 15 in 24 hours.
Of those, 59 were in intensive care, up by two.
A total of 4,309,932 people have received their first dose of a Covid vaccination and 3,897,133 have received their second.
