The figures also show that 2902 new cases of Covid-19 were identified in the past 24 hours.

Across Scotland yesterday there were 894 people in hospital with recently confirmed Covid-19. Of these, 60 were in intensive care.

A roll-out of third "booster" jabs has begun, but data on how many have been administered is not yet available.
