A HOTEL in a Scottish village has been gutted by a huge fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to reports of a building fire on the A85 in Taynuilt at 5.05am on Tuesday.
Three fire engines were sent to the scene near Oban in Argyll and Bute
Pictures from the scene showed flames coming from the Taynuilt Inn.
Police have revealed via social media that the A85 at Taynuilt will now be shut "for some time" due to the blaze.
There have been no reports of any casualties.
Police Oban announced: “Due to an extensive fire the A85 at Taynuilt will be shut for some time. Please find an alternative route.”
Traffic Scotland has also been posting updates throughout the morning.
