ANOTHER 12 people have died in Scotland after testing positive for Covid-19, Scottish Government figures show.
A total of 6836 new cases were also recorded in the past 24 hours with a test positivity rate of 10.8%.
The deaths, among people who first tested positive within the previous 28 days, bring the total under that measurement to 8210.
Some 928 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid while 87 of these were in intensive care.
In terms of vaccination figures, 4,133,606 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,757,337 have received their second dose
