PRO-INDEPENDENCE marchers took to the streets of Glasgow yesterday in their first demonstration since Covid restrictions lifted earlier this week.

The Scottish Independence Movement organised the march, which left from Kelvingrove Park and walked through the city until it reached Glasgow Green.

Organisers said it was still too early to host a rally and most of those marching dispersed upon arrival at Glasgow Green.

In a post on social media, organisers said pro-independence activists have waited “a long time” to be able to march again.
