Another 13 people die in Scotland after contracting coronavirus
ANOTHER 13 people have died in Scotland after contracting Covid-19, new figures reveal.
The deaths, among people who tested positive in the previous 28 days, bring the total under that measurement to 7924.
A further 1398 cases were also registered by Public Health Scotland in the previous 24 hours, with a positivity rate of 4.6%.
Some 490 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid, up 16 in 24 hours.
Of those, 60 were in intensive care, down by three.
A total of 4,005,421 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,145,017 have received their second dose.
