BATMAN has been seen passing by a Gregg's during filming in Glasgow for an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster.

The American film crews are in the Scottish city filming The Flash, a DC/Warner Bros movie due for release in November 2022.

The film is the latest in a string of big budget Hollywood productions to be filmed in the city, after Robert Pattinson's The Batman took to its streets and the centre was transformed into a slice of Americana for Indiana Jones 5.

The Flash is filming in George Square and the surrounding streets with Cochrane Street and George Street also in use.

Details of the movie are being kept under wraps with production starting in April this year in London.

The film, which will be part of the DC Universe, will star Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, who will reprise his role as an older Bruce Wayne/Batman.

The cape crusader was seen whizzing past a British landmark in Gregg's, but it is unlikely the bakery chain will make an appearance in the movie where Glasgow will play the part of Gotham City.
