THE three endangered Amur tiger cubs born at Highland Wildlife Park earlier this year have received their first health check.

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland revealed that the trio is made up of two girls and a boy (below).

Keepers said the nine-week check showed the cubs, which are expected to be named soon, are doing well. They will remain in an off-show cubbing den with mum Dominika for now.

Visitors to the Highland Wildlife Park are still able to see tiger dad Botzman in the outdoor viewing area.

People planning to visit Highland Wildlife Park are advised they must book tickets in advance here in order to limit numbers due to Covid-19 measures.
