BORIS Johnson is an “unthinking Unionist” who wants to reverse devolution, according to his former chief advisor. In her latest video column, Lesley Riddoch asks if this was really news to any of us.
The Tory leader was previously reported as saying devolution was a “disaster” and that he sees no case for handing any further powers to Scotland’s parliament.
Did we need Dominic Cummings to tell us that the desperate spin-doctoring from the UK Government after that story first broke, claiming Johnson had meant the SNP’s handling of Scotland’s affairs not devolution itself, was tosh?
