"WHEN is Scotland vs England, again?" has been a refrain heard plenty* in the lead-up to this Euro 2020 ... and the day is finally here.
The Scotland team, led by manager Steve Clarke and captain Andy Robertson, have already done our nation so proud. What a bonus winning tonight would be.
To celebrate the long-overdue achievement of reaching the international stage once again, we're offering a Premium Plus subscription to The National for £1 for two months.
You'll have access to all our premium articles, including our fantastic National extra series, offering up-to-date analysis and comment from top voices, as well as a wide range of other benefits.
Your subscription will be supporting the many pro-independence voices featured in our pages, and help us cut through Unionist spin and media bias.
It was the support of subscribers that allowed us to launch a massive operation to get our McCrone Report special edition out across Scotland, exposing Westminster's squandering of Scottish oil.
Plus, we celebrate Scottish achievements – not just the bad news.
National editor Callum Baird said: "We know what we want our front-page to be saying on Saturday – we want to be reporting on a historic Scottish win.
"Either way, it's been a massive achievement by the Scotland team getting here, and we're marking that with this fantastic £1 subscription offer.
"If you're interested in supporting Scotland's only pro-independence newspaper, this is a great chance to try out our content.
"And good luck to Scotland at Wembley!"

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
