LESLEY Riddoch says she's no football expert, but she was following along with the Czech match this week and will be glued to the England game.

However, she sympathises with the Scotland team because there's an impossible pressure placed on the squad.

What happens in other small nations? Putting an emphasis on sports other than fitba, and "small town" success rather than international domination, has made Iceland, Norway and Ireland healthier and happier than Scotland - and they didn't even reach the Euro finals.
