ALMOST 400 new Covid cases have been reported in the Scottish Government's latest daily figures.
Some 394 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, a rise of more than 100 on the previous day's figure of 268.
There were no new deaths among people who tested positive in the previous 28 days, meaning the death toll under this measure remains 7664.
The test positivity rate for the new cases was 1.6% with a total of 26,912 tests reporting results.
A total of 78 people were in hospital yesterday receiving treatment for Covid-19, a rise of eight from the previous day. Four of these people were in intensive care.
A total of 3,051,383 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 1,704,388 have received their second dose.
