A WOMAN was subjected to a "nasty attack" after being pounced on by a man near an Asda supermarket.
The 45-year-old victim has been left "badly shaken" by the ordeal, which happened at the Phoenix Retail Park in Linwood at 2.10am yesterday.
Detectives have launched a probe into the incident and are appealing to anyonr with information to come forward.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police were called to Phoenix Retail Park around 2.10am on Thursday, May 13.
"This was a nasty attack on a woman simply going about her daily life.
"The victim did not sustain serious injuries but has been left very badly shaken.
"I would urge anyone who saw what happened to get in touch with officers."
