IT seems that Ruth Davidson just can't get enough of the SNP during this election campaign after she was seen joining an SNP event.

The former Scottish Tory leader will soon be giving up her seat at Holyrood to join the un-elected House of Lords as Baroness Davidson.

She has been campaigning hard for the Tories in the current campaign, now entering its final days, and appearing on a lot of the Tory election leaflets alongside the party's actual leader, Douglas Ross.

Despite spending years fighting against the SNP in Holyrood, she must have heard about the line-up of Scottish talent appearing at the SNP's virtual Get Out the Vote rally.

Sunday's virtual rally was broadcast live across the SNP's social media channels and included appearances from the likes of Alan Cumming, Elaine C Smith and Line of Duty star Martin Compston.

Baroness Davidson's Twitter handle was noticed hopping into the livestream chat as the event was taking place by some eagle-eyed viewers.

Murray Foote, the SNP's media chief, caught the Baroness taking a nosey at the livestream and tweeting out a screenshot and adding: "Someone knows where the party’s at tonight ..."

He later added: "Gotta be better enjoying tonight’s SNP show than listening to the Boris headlines, eh @RuthDavidsonMSP ?"

Twitter users were happy to see Davidson enjoying the event with SNP strategist Ross Colquhoun replying: "Someone's tempted to make it #BothVotesSNP."

The event saw Alan Cumming hosting with discussions with Scottish actor Brian Cox, performances from folksinger Iona Fyfe and Littlest Chicken as well as highlighting the SNP's plan for Scotland.

It also featured an interview with Martin Compston ahead of the Line of Duty finale.
